WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump has said that he will not take a coronavirus test, despite a recent statement by US House of Representatives speaker Nancy Pelosi that it is necessary to do so.
Earlier, Pelosi, responding to a reporter’s question about whether the US President needs to be checked for coronavirus, said that Trump “should have been checked for a long time.”
However, Trump again refused to do this in the presence of journalists.
“No, I’m not going (to be checked), I have a lot of other things to do,” Trump replied in response to a request from reporters to comment on the speaker’s words during a conversation with the press in Washington.
Earlier it became known that the Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz, who on Monday flew on “flight number one” with President Donald Trump and on the same day went to quarantine because of contact with a person infected with the coronavirus, said that his analysis gave a negative result. However, he still decided to self-isolate.
