The test results of US President Donald Trump for the presence of a new coronavirus were negative; the head of the Washington administration is healthy. This follows a message from his attending physician, Sean Conley, which was distributed on Saturday by the White House press service.

“Last night, after a meaningful conversation with the President about testing for the presence of coronavirus-induced disease COVID-19, he decided to pass tests. This evening I received confirmation that the test is negative,” the text reads.

“A week after dining with the Brazilian delegation at the Mar-a-Lago estate [in Florida], the President still has no symptoms of the disease,” Conley said.

Earlier it became known that the head of the press service of the President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro Fabio Weingarten, who was part of the delegation that returned on Wednesday night from Miami, showed symptoms of a respiratory disease, which was later found out to be caused by a coronavirus. It was also reported that during the trip, he was close to the President and had direct contact with him. In addition, on Saturday, the official posted a photo on his Instagram page showing him next to trump and us Vice President Michael Pence. The official was quarantined, and Bolsonaro, who will turn 65 on March 21, and members of his delegation, including the Ministers of defense, state security, and energy, were tested for coronavirus. The Brazilian President on Friday on his Facebook page wrote that the coronavirus was not detected by the results of the analysis.
