Viet Nam goes 57 days without community infections. Viet Nam has flattened the curve
Viet Nam has gone through 57 straight days without community transmission, as no new cases of COVID-19 were reported on June 12 morning, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
Among the total 332 infections, 192 were imported and quarantined upon arrival. A total of 321 patients or 96.7% of all cases have recovered and there have been zero fatalities. Of the 11 active patients, three have tested negative for the coronavirus once and two at least twice.
Some 9,226 people who had close contact with COVID-19 patients or came from pandemic-hit areas are currently under quarantine across the country.
Regarding the British COVID-19 patient, the Ministry of Health said his health continues improving surprisingly day by day. He regained his consciousness and could remember his phone and iPad passwords.
