Russia denies any responsibility in the downing Flight MH17
Today marks the 6th anniversary of the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine in which 298 people from 17 countries, including 10 British nationals, lost their lives.
Six years on, the United Kingdom lead the fight and reiterates its full support for efforts to establish the truth, to deliver justice for the 298 victims and their next of kin, and to hold all those responsible to account.

The United Kingdom fully supports the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Australia in their call for the Russian Federation to accept State responsibility and to fully cooperate with all efforts to establish accountability, in accordance with UNSC Resolution 2166.
