Actor Jason David Frank, who played the original Green and White Rangers in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, has died at the age of 49. The teenage fighting martial arts show it premiered in 1993 and ran for years on tv and spawned my spinoff series and movies.
His agent, Brian Butler-Ou, also paid tribute on Sunday afternoon after hearing the devastating news. “Shocked to hear about the passing of my friend and client. Everyone has demons but some worse than others. If you know people that are depressed please reach out to them. Rest easy my friend.”
Condolences have been pouring into the family of Frank on social media once the news broke on T.M.Z. The Hollywood community is in a state of shock at the passing of Frank. He was a kind and loving soul that saw the best in everyone.
The reason why Frank took his life is still unknown. The family has asked for privacy while they are going through the grieving process. Earlier this summer, Frank’s second wife, Tammie Frank, filed for divorce from the actor. Frank leaves behind four children, three from his first wife, Shawna Frank and one from Tammie.
